What's a portfolio?

A design portfolio is a collection of your best artworks that highlight your aptitude in a particular discipline. It should create a sequence of images that ( talk about you_, your perception of surrounding and an unique way to showcasing  ) tells your visual story. A strong portfolio is the determining factor in ones admission procedure to foreign universities and design colleges. There are fundamental qualities that all outstanding portfolios share and a variety of principals and techniques that can help take your portfolio from average to excellent. Your portfolio should be appropriate to the situation and the reviewer, and all portfolios should show creativity, skills, range, thought, and ambition. It is the overall combination of these, plus that "special something."

We are  conducting a 3 months ‘design portfolio development’ workshop, which will help you prepare a portfolio for admission into design schools for graduate & undergraduate programs. The workshop will guide students to prepare portfolio for the chosen field of study. The following are the features of the workshop:

• Introduction to mind mapping & assessing ones personal attributes
• Theoretical knowledge on subjects like introduction to portfolio, elements of design, art and cultural history, method and meterials
• Practical workshop on different medium like charcoal, pastel, water color, marker, Oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas, clay modeling, basic casting process, print making , digital painting, designing  drawing, sketching, anthropometry and anatomy , photography etc.
• Environmental perception, Conceptual work, designing thought and execution,

It makes one designer stand above the others.

Course fees : Rs 35000/ for 3 months

15 to 20 creative out put
